Law on Call Lawyer Overview:

Law on Call is the first non lawyer owned law firm in the US. As such we do not have to abide by the same business model of retainers, billable hours, fixed mindsets, egos, and being difficult to our customers.

We are looking for attorneys that want to serve the client first and foremost and make amazing relationships with our clients. We service over 5 million US businesses. The Law on Call business model is they can call us anytime and get immediate legal advice, but also hire us in a traditional by the hour way, but we back it up with a 100% customer satisfaction guarantee. They only pay us if they are satisfied. Your wage isn’t dependent on billable hours. We aim to make the best legal experience in america. But we are not doing litigation as of now and will refer that out to other law firms.

Wage:

$85,000 a year to $200,000 a year

We offer our customers the ability to choose lawyers in the range of 2-3 years experience for $100 an hour. 3-5 years experience for $200 an hour. and 5-10 years experience for $400 an hour. We are looking for all lawyers in this range that want to focus on helping solve client problems instead of the business of law.

You also will get to do ad hoc by the hour work. Our customers can call whenever, but they can also have us do regular legal work for them. You don’t have to isolate yourself in an office or working from home unless you want to, but we address customers legal challenges where they pay us by the hour as a collaborative effort. It makes it a lot more fun.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in business, transactional, or contract law
  • JD from an ABA approved law school
  • Licensed to practice law in AZ or UT
  • You’re a good human
  • You have a growth mindset. Not a fixed mindset. We work as a group to provide the best outcome for our clients. It is critical that you won’t get your feelings hurt if you are having constant conversations about law to raise the bar on the standard of legal care our clients actually get.
  • This job is predominantly on site. You will want to work on site as we ramp up and help us create the culture for our firm
